1st consideration should be academic fit. 2nd- is good cultural fit-activities, interests, etc

Know GPA, SAT/ACT scores and financial cost of the colleges you are considering

Consider how far from home you want to be and what size campus you like

Know what you fall in love with at a college-academics, social activities, overall vibe, religious affiliations, sports, etc.

Research colleges through websites and plan a few visits

Apply to 3-5 colleges.
